R. Heath Owen

Associate

Heath Owen graduated from Presbyterian College where he majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics and a minor in Political Science. From there, he went on to earn his Juris Doctor at the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2020, where he was a member of the Mock Trial team and competed in several national mock trial competitions across the United States. He is an active member of the bar, serving on multiple committees and volunteering as a middle school mock trial attorney-coach for both regional and statewide competitions. Heath joined us as an associate attorney and has diverse experience having practiced criminal, civil, and workers’ compensation law.

Heath is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Richland County Bar Association, and North Carolina Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in both South Carolina and North Carolina.
